One last Bridal Expo. I promise. No more.
Funny thing happened today!
I went back to another bridal expo!
It really wasn’t too useful this time mainly because my wedding is in Florida, so the local vendors can’t really do much for me. And, secondly, I have all my vendors booked and most, er, many of my decisions made.
I did, however, score a mad supply of new pens!

On a more personal note, I faced all the past vendors I had met with who did less than stellar jobs for me. And, I did it with my head held high, breathing deeply, with courage and, with my friend linked by invisible chains to my side. But I did it! I confronted her and I felt better about it all.
I got a free magazine and a few cake samples, yum-o! I actually felt guilty when vendors would approach me and launch into their schpiel about what they can do for me how if I sign up now, NOW!, I can save twenty dollars! But I just replied, “no thanks,” or “oh, thanks anyway, but my wedding is in Florida, so … thanks but no thanks, here, talk to my friend!”
As I’ve said before, a Bridal Expo is something you really must do at least once early in your wedding planning. I talk about it in jest and relate all the madness, but the reality is that the majority of wedding vendors are very kind, considerate people who have chosen that profession because they enjoy being a part of the special occasion that is a wedding. They like to celebrate with each couple because they truly care. So, go! Explore a few Expos, take all the information they give you, and read it carefully.
